Quotation software for tiles and sanitary showrooms

In a tiles, marble or sanitaryware showroom, every customer wants a quotation. Staff measure rooms, work out boxes needed for each tile, add skirting, fittings and wastage, then write it all by hand or in a rough Excel sheet. Prices change often, so old quotes go out with wrong rates. Customers compare three showrooms and the slowest quote loses. D&D Technology builds quotation software for showrooms, so staff create accurate, professional quotes quickly and you can follow up on every one.

Why showroom quotations take so long

How we build your quotation tool

  1. Understand how you quote. We start with a call and a look at a few real quotations from your showroom. We note how you calculate areas, wastage, skirting and boxes, which brands you carry, how discounts work and who approves them. Builders and contractors often get different rates from retail buyers, and the tool must handle this the way your team already does it.
  2. Load products and prices. Products are set up with brand, series, size, finish, box coverage and price. Supplier price lists in Excel can be imported and updated when rates change, so staff always quote current prices. Photos can be added, which helps when customers want to see the tile again on the quote before they decide which series to buy for each room.
  3. Room-wise quotation builder. Staff enter rooms with sizes, pick tiles for floor and walls, and the tool works out boxes needed with your wastage rules. Sanitaryware and fittings are added by item. Discounts follow the limits you set, and larger discounts can need manager approval. A finished quote prints or shares as a clean PDF with your showroom's name and details.
  4. Follow-up list. Every quote is saved with the customer's name, phone number and site. The owner sees open quotes, converted quotes and those that went cold. Staff get a follow-up list for quotes sent a few days ago. A short call to a customer who is still deciding often brings them back to your showroom rather than the next one.
  5. Preview, test and launch. You see a working preview and your staff create real quotes in it for a few days. We adjust the screens for speed at the counter. Training is part of the handover. The written quote for our own work lists scope, price and delivery dates, so the showroom knows what it is getting before it says yes.

How D&D Technology helps

Faster, more accurate quotes

The tool does the box calculation and pricing, so a quote that took half an hour can be ready while the customer is still at the counter. Mistakes in area or wastage drop sharply, which means fewer sites running short of a tile that is later out of stock. Speed matters, because customers usually go with the first trustworthy quote they receive.

Quotes that look professional

A clean PDF with your logo, item photos, sizes and clear totals makes your showroom look organised and trustworthy. Customers can share it with family or their architect without confusion. For builders and contractors, a neat quotation also makes approvals on their side easier, which helps your showroom win larger orders over time from repeat project buyers and their site engineers.

Fewer lost customers

Saved quotes with follow-up lists mean customers comparing showrooms get a call back. The owner can see how many quotes turn into orders and which staff convert best. This helps with training and incentives. Over time you also learn which products get quoted often but rarely bought, which can point to pricing or display placement that needs a fresh look.

If your counter staff still calculate tile boxes on paper, show us a few real quotations. We will plan a tool around your way of quoting and confirm the scope, price and dates in a written quote.

Questions people ask

Can staff use it on a tablet in the showroom?

Yes. The tool works in a browser on a computer, tablet or phone, so staff can create quotes while walking around the display area with the customer. The screens are kept large and simple so they work well on a tablet held in one hand.

Can we update prices ourselves?

Yes. You can edit prices in the admin panel or import a new supplier price list in Excel. Old quotes keep the price at which they were made, while new quotes use the updated rates. This avoids confusion when a customer comes back after a price change.

Can it connect to our billing or stock?

If your billing or stock software offers an API or file import, we check whether converted quotes can move there as orders. We confirm this before promising anything. If not, the tool still saves time, and staff can enter the final order in billing once.

What does a quotation tool cost?

This is custom software, so it is quoted to the project based on products, users and features like approvals and follow-ups. After the first call we send a written quote. Our fixed website plans start at ₹4,999 before GST if you also want a showroom website.
